Equestrian show Print E-mail

Image If you want to see something really Hungarian and try real traditional Hungarian food - you should try this activity.  On arrival you will receive fresh-made leavened biscuits and Pálinka (Hungarian brandy).  After that the show will start.

 

The program includes; “four-in-hand driving”; the nomad-cavalry show: horseback archery, lance-throwing and fire-jumping; horsemen’s’ display of skill: making the horse sit and lie down and whip-cracking; also a humorous show with trained donkeys. 

After the show you can go and see champion horses in the stables and be introduced to some traditional Hungarian domestic livestock breeds.  You can also visit the World Champions’ Room, where guests can view equine related world and national championship cups, medals and prizes.

At the end of this stunning show you will be served traditional Hungarian food from the following menus:


Menu A.

  • Goulash soup
  • Custard pie with hot home-made apricot preserve
  • 2 dl red or white wine, Mineral water, espresso


Menu B.

  • Goulash soup
  • Roasted meats offered on a wooden platter, served with mashed potatoes with bacon and   onion or with whole potatoes roasted in  their skins and steamed rice. Country-style pickles (gherkins, bell  peppers, coleslaw and spicy cherry-peppers)
  • Custard pie with hot home-made apricot preserve
  • 2 dl red or white wine, Mineral water, espresso

The minimum number of participants is 8 people.
