This time we would like to invite you to a wine region close to Budapest and take you to an excellent horse show.  Most of the wines from this area have been awarded prizes at international wine contests and exhibitions.  First in the program we will go to a Hungarian village Inn.  On arrival you will receive Hungarian “Pálinka”, mineral water, “Pogacsa” (a savoury scone) and bread with goose fat and onion.

You will then enjoy an amazing horse show before riding in a carriage to the neighbouring wine making company.  During the wine tasting you will try either 5 or 9 different wines, depending on package price.  At the same time cheese, Pogacsa and mineral water will be served.  Following that, the carriages will take you back to the village Inn where you will be served a three course meal:

• Hortobágy pancake (crepe) or deep fried mushrooms
• Goulash soup or bean soup with smoked knuckle of ham
• Strudel or Somloi sponge cake
• 3dl wine, mineral water and a coffee
