 Canopy is an Extreme sport that can be experienced 40 km from Budapest city center. The canopy “field” is a wire- way built between the tree tops. The participants slide down using a support and pulley that is fastened to a harness worn by the participant. The highest point is 14 m and the lowest is 6m. The canopy wire-way is 900 m long, it has 10 sections, and the length of the slide down is approx. 50 minutes. The maximum speed is 30 – 50 km/h. Adrenaline guaranteed
On arrival a trainee expert will familiarize you with the safety rules and with the most important information regarding the canopy. The participants will slide down in small groups, 5-6 members /group. Each group is accompanied by 2 assistants. Climbing onto the start platform the assistants will help fasten the pulleys onto your harnesses by which the group members one after the other, slide downhill from pillar to pillar.
